Perky Beans isn’t just a coffee van it’s a full on vibe. Your favourite caffeine fix on wheels and a little dose of happiness wherever it parks. Operated from the back of a charming white Fiat Doblo, this pint- sized coffee paradise is always on the move, spreading smiles and irresistible coffee aromas far and wide.
Meet Melita & Jessica
Behind the beans is Melita Jarvis MBE, a former British Army soldier turned coffee queen, and her partner in both life and business, Jessica.
After serving over 22 years in the British Army, Melita discovered her passion for coffee during a deployment. She was captivated by the way a simple cup could create connection and camaraderie. Inspired, she brought that magic home and, in September 2023, launched Perky Beans a mobile coffee haven designed to bring people together, one cup at a time.
Backed by Jessica’s unwavering support, Melita and Jessica trained extensively to become skilled baristas. The journey from regimental life to running a mobile coffee business has been fuelled by passion, people, and a deep love for a perfect brew.
Big News: We’ve Expanded!
In May 2025, Perky Beans grew a little bigger and a little more grounded!
We opened a static coffee pod in the car park of The Bell in Great Paxton, offering a regular, welcoming spot for locals and visitors to grab their favourite brew and a treat.
While the original van still buzzes around at markets, schools, and special events, the pod provides a consistent place to find us during the week. Two setups, same great coffee and friendly faces!

Join us every Monday and Friday on the Wintringham Plaza 7am till 12pm for a refreshing cup of coffee and delicious cake to kick start and end your week with energy and joy.
Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday & Friday- The Bell Pub, Great Paxton (PE19 6RF)
Craving a coffee fix or a sweet treat? Find Perky Beans serving from the coffee pod in The Bell Pub carpark for freshly brewed coffee and delicious sweet treats.
We're serving with a smile on the following days:

Pop up Events
Great Paxton Farmers Track (PE19 6RN)
Once a month, we pop up at the local farmers track in the village of Great Paxton from 7.30 am till 1pm bringing our signature drinks and snacks to add a dash of excitement to the vibrant community gatherings.
